To support journalists on parental leave, the Google News Initiative partnered with HeyJoyce and the Journalists Association of Korea to create the Parental Leave Leadership Program.
For 6 weeks, parent journalists have the opportunity to learn more about the latest media trends and network with leaders in their field—all while a team of expert caregivers watch over their children. Over 60 journalists have participated thus far.
Flix Oven provided production services and conducted interviews with journalists taking part in the program, as well as enabling photographer Lindsay Ryklief to take photographs.
